Lowe's joins GH White Center project
A huge new boost was given to the George Henry White Memorial Health and Education Center by none other than the Whiteville Lowe's, the mecca for home improvement and all things buildable! Knowing that Lowe's is not only a corporate leader, but also, active in supporting communities, Vince Spaulding and Ocie Jones reached out to Zach Haines, manager of the Whiteville store.

Ladies Step up to the Plate!
Among the great individuals adding their skills to the building of the George Henry White Memorial Health and Education Center are an able team of dedicated women from the local area. Thanks goes to Gracie Troy George, Barbara Troy, Mary Simmons, and Mrs. Kenneth Todd. Local Superintendent Ocie Jones praised their efforts to carry out three phases of landscaping at the center.

Hard-wired for success: Making GHWC safe and secure
Now, the George Henry White Memorial Health and Education Center is equipped with remotely accessible "smart" security system that will help ensure the safety of the property and those who use it! All Hands on Deck!
Over the past few months, space and access were added to the George Henry White Memorial Health and Education Center through the construction of a back deck, the handicap ramp, and the painting of both. The deck was first completed, thanks to Mr. Marvin White and Mr. Lavarr Jones. This replaced the deteriorated back porch, and creates some outdoor activity space for the facility, along with benches around the perimeter to create a natural meeting space. Mr. John Smith, a ret
