Join us for the statewide kickoff to Black History Month and celebrate our state’s diverse African American heritage and culture! Over 75 musicians, storytellers, dancers, historians, playwrights, authors, artists, reenactors, chefs, teachers, scholars, and more will be on hand to help tell the rich and varied stories of our state. It’s educational and fun for the whole family.

Stephen Spaulding of the Benjamin and Edith Spaulding Descendants Foundation, Inc. will present on the "The Legacy of George Henry White, NC Senator 1897–1901."
