The George Henry White website confirms and validates the life and contributions of one the most influential African Americans of the late 19th. and early 20th centuries. It is well -designed, user friendly, splendidly visual, highly informative, and rescues this once prominent native North Carolinian from virtual obscurity. It has the capacity to restore White's legacy for non-scholars who will benefit from the lessons of his era and the struggles of his life. Every North Carolina school student and educator needs to visit this site at least once. Progressive citizens and leaders of the state will leave the site with profit. Students of history and life long learners will not be disappointed. It is consistent with the highest of expectations.
