Washington, NC will host a living history weekend to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Siege of Washington. Included in the weekend will be: guided walking tours, period reenactors, lectures, and more.

Saturday, April 13

1 pm. ~ Southside High School Band Performance ~ Festival Park

2:30 pm. ~ Phoenix Society Lecture ~ NC Estuarium The Phoenix Historical Society will be presenting the story of "Big Bob" and arming of refugees from enslavement during the Siege of Washington, NC., on Saturday, April 13, 2103 at 2:30-3:30 pm at the NC. Estuarium, E. Water Street in Washington, NC. as part of the city's "Living History" weekend commemorating the 150th anniversary of the siege.
